They say money can’t buy happiness, but I say it can buy freedom. Freedom from anxiety and worry, the freedom to spend more time with my family, freedom to plan for the future. And that type of freedom may not buy happiness, but it certainly makes being happier easy. Let me paint the picture for you. For years, I struggled with bills. I imagine most people can relate to this. I didn’t come from a wealthy background—I worked my way through college, got a good job after school, lost it, got another. It’s the cycle of life, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. I had a mortgage, I had student loans, I had a car loan, I had kids to feed. It seemed as if there were always new expenses to worry about. I got creative with budgeting, worked harder, and still there were months that made me nervous. When I first started investing online, not much changed. Because, like everything, I had to spend time learning this new craft to make it work for me. But once I’d learned, I noticed something I’d not felt in a long time: Relief. Relief that I wasn’t constantly worrying about money, relief that I felt I was taking control of my future. And I realized that relief, freedom and happiness are all tied together. I toyed with several types of online investing. After all, there are a thousand ways you could choose to go, from big banks to day trading. I decided to use a prop trader called Try2BFunded because it let me work with other peoples’ money. Namely, I was able to use Try2BFunded's capital to invest with, and keep 60% of the profits. Not bad. Once I’d found what kind of trading I wanted to do, it took about 6 weeks to start noticing a positive impact on my bank account. But those 6 weeks were helped a lot by Try2BFunded's angle. In essence, I had to prove myself. Try2BFunded has a qualifying round that makes sure you know what you’re doing. This was a great learning opportunity for me. As a relative newbie to investing, I actually needed those 6 weeks to learn more about risk management. Otherwise, I would have plummeted into the red right away. Now that I’m past the Try2BFunded qualifying round, I’ve noticed a few changes in my life. Namely, a reduction of stress. An increased cash flow has made my bills much less intimidating. I also like that what I put into it is what I get out. If I’m able to work in some hours in the morning, some in the evening, and on weekends, I can see serious improvements. And the time I put into Try2BFunded equals more free time later to spend with my family, on my hobbies, planning for the future and in my other hobbies. If that kind of freedom isn’t happiness, I don’t know what is.
